Special cabin for Sea Heavy Lifting ship

Siemens Gusto has ordered a special cabin for a crane on a SHL ship (SHL = Sea Heavy Lifting).
This ship will be the largest "monohull heavy lift" in the world with a capacity of 5000 ton.
It will be built by IHC Holland Merwede Group.
The ship is designed for building offshore platforms, breaking platforms down and special projects.

Merford designed a special cabins for this ship. The windows are positioned in different angles for an optimal view around the crane for the operator.
The cabin has a length of 5 metres, a width of 3 metres and is 2,7 metres high.
